Choose Life...
The simple truth is this: I love you, and I want you to live. But, maybe that's not enough. Maybe you need more, more proof, more love, more...everything. You're not alone. The truth is we all feel that way from time to time, some, more than others. But there comes a time when you've just got to stop questioning and start listening. There is no cure for HIV. There is no cure for AIDS. Sure through the power of meds and proper dieting people are living longer and defeating the once unbeatable odds, but why take that chance? Why put yourself through it? Why cause your family and friends unnecessary pain? Why become a guinea pig for power hungry, ever-ready pharmaceutical companies? Why?
The truth is, I can't stop you from having needless sex. I can't stop you from gambling with your own life. I can't, and that's what hurts. Because whether you want to believe it or not, I need you. We all need you. And life, my life, our life, just wouldn't be the same without you. So please, please, take care of yourself. Take care of your body. Love it. Hold onto it. Protect it. Because if you don't, you're not just hurting yourself, you're hurting all of us who love you.
